Hose connections: Make sure you have a tube of silicone grease to lube the threads of the plastic connectors before you screw them into the pump. I'm very happy with the amount of light and the brightness of the light. I have 12 foot ceiling in my kitchen/dining room area and when I put the light on its several flood lights.
